Student Immigration Team

Our Student Immigration Team supports international applicants and students with UK immigration requirements throughout their journey to and during study.

For applicants, the team provides guidance on the student visa application process, including Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), required documentation and applying for Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) clearance where relevant.

During your studies, the team offers advice on visa conditions and responsibilities, including working during your studies, travel and what to do if your circumstances change – such as changing course, extending your studies or taking a placement.

Current students can also access in-person support through drop-in sessions:

  • Location: Ground Floor, Main Library, Oxford Road
  • Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • Time: 11am–1pm
  • Appointments: Not required
